JSTOR* provides journal articles in a number of different disciplines.  Because the database is so large, I suggest performing a Boolean search using several keywords, such as "microcredit AND law".

Websites

The Microfinance Gateway is the premiere website for information regarding microfinance.  It addresses many different areas, and includes a section dedicated to "Microfinance Regulation and Supervision."

The MIX Market provides financial information for member MFIs.

Organized by RESULTS, the Microcredit Summit brings together some of the brightest minds involved in microfinance.

Grameen Bank founded by Dr. Muhammad Yunus continues to provide a model for many MFIs.

ACCION is one of the largest microfinance organizations in the world.

International Year of Microcredit

FINCA International is another large MFI.

Kiva allows people to make loans directly to poor individuals by using a credit card.

Pro Mujer is an MFI which provides loans to women in Latin America.
