Transcripts of some committee hearings may be available at the New York State Library in Albany.  Search the catalog of the New York State Library:  www.nysl.nysed.gov

Transcripts of selected committee hearings are also available for a fee from the New York Legislative Service, 15 Maiden Lane, New York, NY 10038, (212) 962-2826:  http://www.nyls.org/

Reports:

Legislative committees in New York do not usually issue written reports.  If a report is issued, however, it may be obtained from the following sources:

 From 1830 to 1976 New York State issued a series called New York State Legislative Documents.  The series contained a variety of legislative, executive and judicial documents.  The BLS Library has this series in bound volumes from 1875-1969 and in microfilm from 1830-1976 (KFN 5005 .N496).  The last volume for each legislative session, in both the bound volumes and the microfilm, contain a subject index.  Reports are also indexed in the Monthly Checklist of Official Publications of the State of New York, published from 1947-March 2004 in hard copy (Z 1223.5 .N57 C43) and since 1997 online in the Checklist of Official Publications of the State of New York:
