In Comparative Evaluation of Online Machine Translation Systems with Legal Texts, 100 L. Libr. J. 299, 316 (2008), Chunyu Kit and Tak Ming Wong stated that a particular strength of Babel Fish was translating from Greek or Russian to English.
In 2008, Chunyu Kit and Tak Ming Wong noted that PROMPT (a predecessor to Online-Translator) was slightly better at translating from Portuguese to English.
