This guide is a brief introduction to and overview of the Brooklyn Law School Library. Described here are the services, resources, facilities and staff of the Library.

Welcome to the Library

 

 

Brooklyn Law School Library is located at 250 Joralemon Street, Brooklyn, New York 11201.  The entrance to the library is on the first floor of the law school building.  The library is on six levels containing a collection of over 400,000 volumes in print, microform, and e-book format, as well as a wealth of research databases.  The library is staffed by ten librarians, ten para-profesionals, and law school and college students.

 

Hours

During the fall and spring semesters, the library is open:

  • Monday - Thursday:  8:00am - 12:00am
  • Friday:  8:00am - 10:00pm
  • Saturday:  9:00am - 10:00pm
  • Sunday:  10:00am - 12:00am

During the fall and spring reading and exam period, the library is open 8:00am - 2:00am seven days a week.

Changes to hours during the summer months, holidays, and vacations are posted on library bulletin boards and on our homepage.
