Research Tips

The New York Criminal Procedure statutes as annotated in McKinney's Consolidated Laws of New York  and New York Consolidated Laws Service are valuable sources of information. Many sections of the Criminal Procedure Laws are annotated with practice commentary that is very useful in understanding how particular sections have been interpreted and applied. These practice commentaries are available both in the print and online versions of the statutes.
