• TIP: One can filter case law by country/jurisdiction, related country/jurisdiction, collection title (example: ECJ Case Law), region, keywords or selected topics.  Also, one can run keyword searches. 

NEW: In IBFD Tax Research Platform, IBFD now states: "A new collection summarizing tax-related aspects of key investor-state arbitration cases is included on our Tax Research Platform."  IIA Case Summaries include: "The most relevant excerpts of the summarized decisions, with access to the full text of the decisions."  "Twenty case summaries are already available on the Tax Research Platform. We are continuously working on expanding the collection over time."  IBFD's announcement links to these IIA Case Summaries.

Fiscal Institute Tilburg and Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law of Vienna University conduct the annual conference: Tax Treaty Case Law Around the Globe.  At a later date, material from the 2025 conference will be published as a book by International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation and Linde.  Below is a description of the 2025 conference:

  • Occurred: May 7-9, 2025
  • Description stated: "Our conference aims at presenting and discussing the most interesting tax treaty cases, which had been decided in 2024 all over the world. The program will consist of the most relevant decisions, presented by outstanding experts from jurisdictions all over the world."
