Bill Tracking: 

Use the following sources to track the status of a bill as it worked its way from a bill to a law:

New York Legislative Record and Index (1971-1984) KFN 5007 .N43 - Annual record of each bill introduced during the legislative session.

Legislative Digest (1985 to date) KFN 5007 .N44 - Official compilation of legislative activity compiled by the Legislative Bill Drafting Commission. Volume one contains the Senate introductory record and volume two contains the Assembly introductory record; both arranged by bill number with summaries and actions on bills. Volume three lists individual records of legislators and a subject index.

New York State Report (1996 to date)  KFN 5007 .N42 - Weekly review of legislative activity when the legislature is in session.
