1L Resources, Tips and Tools: How Can a Reference Librarian Help Me?

This guide describes print and digital resources to help 1Ls succeed at Brooklyn Law School.

Where Are the Reference Librarians?

Reference librarians' offices are on the third floor of BLS Library.  Most offices are adjacent to the Nash Reading Room.  The reference librarian "on duty" places a sign (shown below) next to the librarian's office door.  Feel free to email askthelibrary@brooklaw.edu or to chat with us by using the QR Code below.  We will help!

Reference & Research Assistance

Reference and research assistance is available from BLS reference librarians. They can answer questions about availability of sources, can assist with use of library databases (and other resources) and can help you to begin research.

When are BLS reference librarians available during the Fall and Spring semesters?

Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm and Saturday from 12pm-4pm.

Visit reference staff in person on the third floor of BLS Library or contact us through:

Announcements about library activities and alerts about new resources appear in the BLS Library Blog
