Brooklyn Law School Library in a Nutshell: Circulation Desk

This guide is a brief introduction to and overview of the Brooklyn Law School Library. Described here are the services, resources, facilities and staff of the Library.

Circulation Desk

The Circulation Desk is to the left, as you enter the Library on the 1st Floor. It is staffed during the hours the library is open by full-time support staff, Monday-Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, and by BLS law students in the early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.  You may ask basic questions about the library here and charge out circulating and reserve materials at this desk.  Materials on course reserve, regular reserve, and recent issues of newspapers can be found here.  The library receives the following newspapers in print on a daily or weekly basis: New York Law Journal, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, National Law Journal.  

For your convenience, the following items may also be charged out at the circulation desk:

  • Laptop computers (PLEASE NOTE: Library laptops do NOT support exam software and may not be used for exams)
  • USB Drives
  • Computer Locks
  • Dry Erase Markers (for use in study rooms)
