Government agencies' and non-governmental organizations' and associations' websites are a great source for government documents, white papers and reports. Listed below are select government agencies and NGOs.

Government Organizations

New York State Office of Child and Family Services
OCFS is responsible for programs and services involving foster care, adoption and adoption assistance, child protective services including operating the Statewide Central Register for Child Abuse and Maltreatment, preventive services for children and families, services for pregnant adolescents, and protective programs for vulnerable adults.

New York City's Adminstration for Children Services
The Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) protects and promotes safety and well-being of New York City’s children and families by providing child welfare, juvenile justice, and early care and education services.
Administration for Children and Families
The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) is a division of the Department of Health & Human Services. They promote the economic and social well-being of families, children, individuals and communities with partnerships, funding, guidance, training and technical assistance.

American Bar Association: Family Law Section
The Family Law Section includes a case law update and two publications: Family Law Quarterly and Family Advocate Magazine
The Association of Family and Conciliation Courts
AFCC is an international association of professionals dedicated to the resolution of family conflict. Members include judges, mediators, lawyers, psychologists, social workers, academics etc. Included on the website are a range of resources, including white papers and reports.
National Association of Council for Children
The National Association of Counsel for Children (NACC) is a non-profit professional membership and advocacy organization dedicated to advancing justice for children, youth, and families. Information on the website includes amicus briefs and webinar recordings.
National Coalition for Child Protection Reform
The National Coalition for Child Protection Reform is the result of a 1991 conference held at Harvard Law School to organize a group to take the case for child protection reform to the public. The coalition publishes many issue papers on child welfare reform.
Womenslaw.org
WomensLaw.org provides information that is relevant to all victims and survivors. Included on the website is legal information on various topics including restraining orders, custody, and divorce. There is also state-specific information covers the 50 states as well as the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands. Additionally there is federal legal information on immigration, gun laws, and more.
