OneSearch

OneSearch searches articles, books, and other publications across all of BLS's subscription platforms such as Hein, EBSCO, and JSTOR. (Note that OneSearch does not search platforms that require a separate log in - Lexis, Westlaw, and Bloomberg).  Use the advanced search feature to search by subject or to limit your search to abstracts for more efficient searching.  You can also use the filters on the left to further limit your search.

SARA - Subject Searches

Subject headings are words or phrases assigned to articles, books and other resources.  Searching subject headings can be a highly efficient way of locating materials on your topic. To search subject headings, simply use the pull down menu next to the search bar in BLS Library's SARA catalog, or in any advanced search field, and select subject.  Here is a search by subject for climate change in SARA.

If you find a resource that is on-point, check out the subject headings assigned to it in its catalog record - try clicking these subject headings to find more sources that were assigned those same headings.
