Until May 4, 2024, BLS patrons have access to selected modules of History Vault (provider: ProQuest)Now, BLS patrons can access History Vault trial modules using this web address: https://trials.proquest.com/access?token=FhEVragxcNfpeJGSmXTjxOlGq  History Vault provides both a main screen search feature and links to search subject-specific modules.

  • Archival materials in this History Vault trial cover:
    • American Politics and Society (including Progressive Era and New Deal)
    • Civil Rights and the Black Freedom Struggle
    • Native Americans and the American West
    • Southern Life, Enslavement, and the Civil War
    • Women at Work During World War II
  • These are digital versions of original documents.  Older documents (such as letters, journals and petitions) may be in cursive text and might exhibit some deterioration.
