New: BLS has obtained an educational license to the documentary film: Tribal Justice. Dir. Anne Makepeace. Distributor: Bullfrog Films, 2017.

  • Current BLS students and faculty can view this film on campus through the BLS network and off campus through a web browser that communicates with the BLS proxy server.  Web screen, top right, should state: "Hello Brooklyn Law School User."

In 2023, American Association of Law Libraries' Annual Meeting included the program: Recognizing the Third Sovereign: Promoting Awareness of, Respect for, and Access to Native American Tribal Law.  U.S.C Law Library created this highly useful research guide to sources highlighted in this program.  Through this program and U.S.C.'s guide, our library team became aware of sources such as Northwest Intertribal Court System: Tribal Court Appellate Opinions.  Thank you AALL and U.S.C. Law Library.
