Printing

Students receive $25.00 per semester (500 pages) for their Pharos printing accounts.  The charge for printing is five cents per black and white page.  Students can add money to their Pharos accounts online using a debit or credit card by logging on to BLSConnect and click on "Printing Account Replenishment" under "Quick Links."

There are release stations and printers located throughout the library where students may send print jobs. The library has one color printer which is located in the 3rd Floor computer lab and another color printer in the Cellar level computer area.

Scanning/Copying

There are book scanners located on the first floor and in the cellar which may be used to scan pages from a book. Scanned documents can be sent to an email address or saved to a USB.  There is also a scanner/copier on the first floor that can be used to scan or photocopy pages.  For students the charge for copying is $0.05/page.  There is no charge for scanning.

Microform Reproduction

The library has a large collection of materials in microfilm and microfiche in the cellar of the library.  In room C33 of the library there is a Konica microform reader/printer/scanner.  There is no charge for printing or scanning microforms. For assistance with locating microforms or using the machine, please ask a library staff member at the circulation desk.
