Library Supported Technology: Adding Slido Polls to PowerPoint

To insert Slido polls into a PowerPoint slide deck, you first need to download the Slido PowerPoint integration.

*Note: the Slido PowerPoint integration must be downloaded on every computer you intend to use for your PowerPoint presentation. If you create a PowerPoint with Slido on your personal computer, you must also download the integration on whichever BLS computer you use for your live presentation.

To download the integration:

1. Click Settings in the event dashboard.

3. Click Integrations.

3. Click PowerPoint, then click Download.

4. Follow the instructions in the Installation guide.

For now, Slido for PowerPoint only works for Windows computers. If you have a Mac computer, we recommend creating and running your Slido polls outside of your PowerPoint slides.

Follow the instructions below to add polls to a PowerPoint deck.

1. Open PowerPoint.
2. In the ribbon at the top of the window, click the Slido logo button.

3. Click Log in, then enter your Slido credentials in the browser.

Once you are logged into Slido via PowerPoint, you'll have the option of importing an existing event or creating a new event.

1. Select your event from the list. (If you don't see it, click Load more.)
2. Select an existing poll, or click the Create new Slido button.
3. Within your existing event, you can use existing polls or add new ones ("interactions" in PowerPoint).
4. Once the poll has been added to your slide deck, you can move it wherever you choose.

*Note: In Slideshow mode, a Slido poll looks just like it does in Present mode on a browser, and includes event and QR codes.
