Library Supported Technology: Pharos Accounts & Payments

This guide provides instructions and information about the hardware, software and platforms managed by the Library.

Paying with Your Pharos Account

Once you have downloaded Pharos, your account will be active. Your Pharos credentials are the same as your BLS credentials (firstname.lastname and password). Pharos uses a pay-per-page system: black & white is $.05/page and color is $.25/page. A double-sided print is charged as a single sheet when printed on a duplex printer.

Adding Funds to Your Pharos Account

At the beginning of each term, students are credited $25, or 500 pages, to their Pharos accounts. When those funds are depleted, follow the instructions below, compiled by IT on BLSConnect, to replenish them:

  1. Log into BLSConnect with your credentials.
  2. Navigate to Quick Links at the bottom left.
  3. Click Printing Account Replenishment.
  4. Enter amount and click Continue.
  5. You will be directed to PayPal, where you can enter your payment information.
